WaStop® Inline Check Valve

WaStop®s unique patented construction stops back flow in drains. It can be installed either in existing drains or manholes, and gives a reliable protection against high water levels, flotsam, gases, salt water, insects and small animals.

Materials:
Pipe – stainless steel EN1.4301/AISI 304
Membrane – polyurethane (PU)

PU has excellent memory and returns to its molded shape better than natural rubber. Natural rubber degrades quickly in the sun.

Inline check valve sleeve/membrane shall withstands abrasives such as sand, detritus and normal chemicals in waste water .

The inline check valve allows flow in one direction only:

Flow in the normal direction (green arrow) causes a pressure buildup against

the membrane causing the membrane to open just enough to allow the flow to pass

unhindered.

If the flow is reversed (red arrow) the membrane fills with water or gas and acts as a

stopper blocking all back flow in the drain.

Wastop® can be installed in minutes in a drain or chamber either horizontally or vertically,at the inlet or outlet.

Seals and anchors for installation in drains are included.

Joint connections are available for purchase upon request.

The check valve can be attached with flanges, angle irons, slide muffs or joint couplings.

Installation can be at inlet or outlet, inside existing pipe, between existing pipes, or in a manhole.

WaStop® check valve can be designed to withstand up to 26.24ft (8m) back pressure.

•WaStop® can be installed for reverse flow in all cases.

•20 year life expectancy.

•Standard sizes from: 4" to 48"
